چکیده

Fujitsu has developed outdoor Long Term Evolution (LTE) infrastructure equipment (eNodeB) based on the specifications in the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). Thanks to the use of highly efficient and highly integrated devices, flexible software configuration technology and simple hardware architecture, this LTE infrastructure equipment is small, lightweight and has a low power consumption. This means it can be deployed easily and efficiently when a number of base stations are installed to cope with heavy traffic load in a mobile network. As a result, this equipment helps reduce capital investment and operating costs in our customers’ networks and it also contributes to the environment. This paper describes an outline of this LTE infrastructure equipment and its features.

LTE and SAE : The Protocol Architecture in Mobile Broadband

This paper is to describe the new wireless communication technology Long Term Evaluation. LTE became the most powerful technology in cellular system to achieve the high speed, spectral efficiency and reduce latency rate in uplink and downlink. The LTE architecture is known as (SAE) service architecture evolution. SAE is the combination of Evolved universal terrestrial radio access network and E...

Cyclostationary signatures for LTE Advanced and beyond

Long Term Evolution (LTE) Advanced is the next generation of the LTE standard, offering peak data rates of up to 1 Gbps using up to 100 MHz of spectrum. A key mechanism in achieving this is carrier aggregation (CA) whereby multiple LTE component carriers (CCs) are combined in a contiguous or non-contiguous fashion. With the introduction of CA comes the challenge of network rendezvous. In order ...

Radio Resource Management - Connection Mobility Control eNodeB Source Handover Strategies

Radio Resource Management (RRM) is an E-UTRAN Node B (eNodeB) application level function that ensures the efficient use of available radio resources. RRM manages the assignment, re-assignment and release of radio resources taking into account single and multi-cell aspects. Connection Mobility Control (CMC) is a sub-function of RRM. It is required in the idle as well as connected mode. In idle m...

Intelligent Network Selection for Vertical Handover Optimization in LTE-Advanced

Vertical handover decision (VHD) is a complex strategy in heterogeneous wireless networks because of its significance on network application and performance. The mechanism adopted for the vertical handover utilizes the “break – before – make” phenomenon. However, issue of network availability and the choice of the best available network may be an illusion as the mechanism is subjected to many d...

Efficient Data Uploading Supported by D2D Communications in LTE-A Systems

The reference scenario in this paper is a single cell in a Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) system, where multiple user equipments (UEs) aim at uploading some data to a central server or to the Cloud. The traditional uploading technique used in cellular systems, i.e., with separate links from each UE to the eNodeB, is compared to innovative relay-based schemes that exploit Device-to-Device ...
